How do you know what songs are hot right now? When you create your video, just use one of the recommended songs that the app suggests. It's that easy! You can also help yourself by saving sounds you find on your FYP that are common and using them in your videos.

3. use trending hashtags in your TikTok captions.

Again: The more clever your hashtags are, the more TikTok likes and views your videos will get. As with any other social media platform, it helps to post at the right time. It's not as important as Instagram, but if you post at times when more users are on the app, your videos will be viewed faster, which in turn will lead to more TikTok followers.

That takes a little skill. Social media doesn't yet have good tools for predicting the ideal times to post. Fortunately, the Tiktok services built into the app provide some information about when YOUR audience is active. Post when your TikTok fans are in the app!

6. do not delete your TikTok videos!

Here's the thing: Not every video I post is immediately well received. Some are a total flop... but you know what? It's not uncommon for a video I posted a few weeks ago to suddenly pop up en masse on the FYP site and go viral on its own.

You never know if a video will strike a chord with people again, so don't delete anything! TikTok is not like other social media platforms where you can delete old stuff without anyone noticing. You can just get more Tiktok views for your old stuff.
